Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa is seeking Sales Associates. You are a critical link in ensuring that our customers' experience in our Flanders-Mount Olive spa is nothing other than outstanding! We are looking for responsible, dependable individuals with excellent communication and sales skills to join our team! We are currently looking to fill a Part Time Sales Associate positions.

Our Sales Associates are our main customer service representatives through both face-to-face and phone interactions with our clients. As the liaison between our clients and our certified massage therapists/licensed estheticians, our sales associates schedule all service appointments. Most importantly, this position entails presenting each client with the benefits our lifestyle membership program and our  service upgrades to customize our clients service to their needs.

 Responsibilities include: 

  • Meeting membership sales goals 
  • Communicate sales promotions and service options with clients
  • Learn about our products and services for effective, clear communication
  • Greet and check-in/out clients before/after their appointment
  • Serve as Client Experience Concierge providing excellent customer service to members and guests.
  • Communicate the continually changing schedule and operational needs with coworkers
  • Execute the daily operational tasks, day-to-day goals and priorities assigned by management
  • Capable of working flexible hours  
  • Uphold store cleanliness standards in the entire spa
  • Positive, energetic attitude
  • Ability to build relationships
  • Answer phones, schedule appointments and file documents 
  • Conduct Data Entry
  • Perform various other duties as assigned
  • Critical thinking skills, including customer conflict resolution
  • A fast learner, with a positive attitude; remain calm in fast paced environment
Sales Associate Qualifications:

  • Must have High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
  • Must have reliable transportation (Required)
  • Must be 18 years old or older (Required)
  • Ability to work evening and weekend shifts (Required)
  • Sales/Retail/Customer Service Experience
  • Ability to learn quickly, self starter
  • Critical thinking skills, including conflict resolution
  • Exceptional organizational and prioritizing ability, high attention to detail, and ability to multi-task 
  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • A strong team player with ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Good and clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle guest situations professionally and multitask with ease all while focusing on the guest
  • Must be of good moral character
  • Satisfactory results of background and reference check is a condition of employment in this position
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1+ years in sales a plus
  • Experience using Zenoti client management system or salon booking computer software a plus
  • Day, Nights, Weekend and Holiday Availability a plus
  • Membership Sales and/or Sales Experience
  • Hospitality/Service and/or Retail Sales Experience
