Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa Wyomissing located at 1185 Berkshire Blvd, Wyomissing, PA 19610 is looking for a strong, results-focused leader. Our ideal candidate has 3 - 5 years of leadership experience, is a responsible individual with exceptional communication skills, passion for building a positive culture, and is motivated to succeed. We are looking for someone interested in a long-term role with tremendous opportunity for professional growth. Prior spa industry experience or membership-driven sales experience is a plus, but not a requirement for consideration.  Our goal is to provide our valued members and guests with a world-class experience, and our General Managers are a critical link in ensuring that our clients' experience in our spa is nothing short of exceptional! As a General Manager, you will
  • Provide an excellent customer experience to all clients through the answering of phone calls, setting appointments, greeting clients and membership sales and management
  • Oversee and manage daily operations of the Spa
  • Manage spa sales performance
  • Recruit, hire, and develop talented spa professionals
  • Train, monitor, and coach performance 
  • Membership education and sales - including sales goals and incentives
  • Passionately promote products and services
  • Communicate with Service Provider team and maximize appointment book
  • Find opportunities for grassroots marketing and local community connections 
  • Administrative duties including reporting, P&L analysis, payroll, cash handling, inventory and ordering, etc.
Role Requirements
  • Proven passion for communicating with people 
  • Capability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to occasionally travel for training sessions, conferences, meetings with clients, or other business-related activities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A fast learner, with a positive attitude
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Computer proficiency; knowledge of retail/appointment booking computer systems is a plus
  • A strong team player with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision
  • Exceptional organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking
  • Critical thinking skills, including customer conflict resolution

The compensation structure for our Sales Associates is performance driven, with an hourly base plus commission on membership sales. Earning potential is practically unlimited for strong performers! Our Massage Therapists and Estheticians are compensated at a competitive per-service rate, and your total earnings per appointment is calculated based on the services provided. Tips paid out daily for Service Providers
We pay out tips to our Massage Therapists and Estheticians daily, so there is no waiting for your paycheck to receive your tips. Cash tips are collected daily, and all tips left on credit cards are transferred to an Instant card. This can be used as a credit card for shopping and purchases, and you can even transfer the balance to your regular bank with no fees. By using the Instant card, we eliminate the safety concern of having large amounts of cash in hand at the end of your shift. Tips are paid out same day and funds are immediately available.

Full Time team members are eligible for our benefits package which includes Medical Insurance with a generous monthly employer contribution, Dental Insurance, as well as a $10K Life Insurance policy at no cost to you!
