Now Hiring, Director of Operations for an experienced, invested, and rapidly growing Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa franchisee group. The Director of Operations overseas day- to-day operations and the long-term success of the following Hand and Stone spa locations: Wilkes Barre, PA, Dickson City, PA, Stroudsburg, PA and Keystone Crossing, IN. The Director of Operations leads and manages the entire team to help achieve the goals and objectives of the current locations (four) and potential future expansion of locations.

DUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
(subject to change depending on the needs of the organization)

• Responsible for achieving all revenue and profitability goals of the organization.
• Lead departments and operations of the company. This includes guiding, directing, and evaluating the work of spa's management.
• Support in strategic planning to improve proficiency, productivity, and efficiency of the projects and operations of the organization.
• Assure compliance with all hiring, employee communication, and regulatory agencies.
• Responsible for achieving high customer satisfaction, as reported through
• Represent the company for external and internal events.Monitor the competitive landscape and attend corporate events to stay abreast of new initiatives.
• Identify, train, and develop leaders within the company and set them on a path for management.
• Responsible for maintaining high employee satisfaction with all direct reports, their people and to assist Spa Leaders in their employee satisfaction efforts in their spas.
• Responsible for the execution of the Company’s quarterly, annual, five year and long-term goals in line with the Company’s Vision, Mission, and Guiding Principles.
• Review and revisions to the Company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to manage the organization’s current volume and its projected growth more effectively.
• Directly accountable for all new systems, platforms, services, protocol, and initiatives are rolled out efficiently.
• Tackle unforeseen issues and troubleshooting.
• Calculate burdened labor rates regularly for all spa personnel .
• Direct and coordinate estimating functions of the company to ensure accuracy, profitability, and competitive edge.
• Work collaboratively with other senior leaders and department leads to support their efforts in accomplishing Company goals.
• Establish team focus by developing and communicating goals in support of the visions and values of the organization.
• Develop others by delegating responsibility, providing high-impact performance feedback, and assisting in conflict resolution.
• Maintain a safe workspace by enforcing standards and procedures and keeping compliance with legal regulations.
• Direct and coordinate the continuous improvement of employee vetting, employee file keeping, and recruiting.
• Ensure all Hand and Stone Franchise Corporation policies and procedures are maintained.
• Ensure Department of Health regulations are met.
• Ensure documentation is complete.
