Compensation:

Salary: $36,000 - $40,000 (based on experience)

Performance Bonuses: Up to $25,000 in the first year
About the Role:
As an Assistant Spa Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth spa operations while also actively engaging with clients and staff. You’ll work alongside Spa Associates at the front desk, handling phone calls, booking appointments, greeting customers, and selling memberships and spa packages. Additionally, you’ll oversee scheduling, inventory, and administrative tasks to maintain an exceptional guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of a busy spa
- Lead by example in providing outstanding customer service
- Assist in hiring, training, and coaching spa associates and service providers
- Sell memberships and spa packages to enhance guest wellness
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, inventory, and reporting
- Ensure the spa is well-stocked and maintained for seamless operations
- Address customer concerns and therapist inquiries with professionalism
- Maintain a strong knowledge of all spa services and products
- Promote the health and wellness benefits of massage therapy and facials
- Work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Previous experience in retail management or sales (spa or wellness industry experience a plus)
- Experience in selling memberships is highly desirable
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Excellent leadership and communication abilities
- Ability to coach and mentor a team while also taking direction from the Spa Manager
- Comfortable using computer booking systems (experience preferred)
- Enthusiastic and passionate about health, wellness, and customer satisfaction
