Hand and Stone Massage and Facial spa in Scripps Ranch is  seeking a driven and experienced  Spa Manager to lead our team, oversee daily operations, and drive business growth. This is a leadership opportunity for someone passionate about both the massage and aesthetics industry, who is goal oriented and growth minded with a proven background in overseeing spa operations or customer service. Performance will be based on overseeing a team of front desk associates, massage therapists and estheticians as well as handling daily operations such as client services and employee scheduling. The manager is responsible for increasing membership conversion rates and sales as well as hitting other spa sales goals.
We’re looking for a strong, organized, and inspirational leader who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. The ideal candidate will be results-oriented, team-driven, and committed to creating a 5-star experience for every client—while scaling the business to the next level.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead daily operations to ensure an elevated and seamless client journey from consultation to spa experience.
  • Motivate, manage, and develop team members to consistently exceed performance standards.
  • Hire, train, and onboard staff to align with our luxury service model and company values.
  • Track KPIs and implement strategies to meet sales goals, maximize productivity, and improve client retention.
  • Esthetician license and knowledge of the Dermalogica, Image and Clarity RX product lines a plus!
  • Manage scheduling, supply ordering, and inventory to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, licensing, and safety protocols.
  • Review business metrics weekly to assess trends, opportunities, and ROI.
  • Become proficient with the Zenoti booking system to enhance client management and follow-ups.
  • Support sales of packages and memberships, upsell treatments, and lead by example in client education.
  • Maintain spa standards for cleanliness, ambiance, and brand representation.

Qualifications
  • Must have at least 2 years of experience managing a spa or other membership based business, with a proven track record of growing revenue year over year.
  • 3+ years of total management experience in any type of membership based business, retail or hospitality industry a plus.
  • California Esthetician or Massage therapist License strongly preferred.
  • Must be reliable, dependable, have a strong work ethic able to work days, evenings or weekends.
  • Sales-minded with a proven record of exceeding revenue targets.
  • Professional appearance, excellent communication skills, and client-focused demeanor.
  • Must have a passion for the wellness industry and want to promote the benefits to clients.
  • Schedule includes 6 hour shifts from either 8:30-2:30, 2:30-8:30 during the week or  8:30-2:30 or11:30-6:30 on the weekends
Benefits include:
• $24-$25 an hour based on experience
• $10 for every membership sold by spa and 10% commission on all product sales
• Additional incentive bonuses on hitting sales and membership and gift card goals

• 401K benefits after 1 year of employment
• 50% discount on all spa services
Compensation: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour
